Does your dog run at the sound of the bath? Whether you take your pup to the groomers or you give your pup a bath a home, there is one thing everyone can agree on: the more calm the pet, the easier the bath.

While it may seem like your dog has their hygiene under control, regular grooming is an important part of responsible dog care. Keeping their skin and fur clean can help relieve skin conditions and promote better health. If you don’t have a routine set, start small by just adding a bath in every couple of weeks or when your pup is noticeable dirty, and try brushing their fur and trimming their nails at separate times to keep all grooming session short.

Calm their bath-induced nerves
If you pup gets very anxious at even the sound of the bath then it might be helpful to calm their nerves before heading to the bath. Anxiety can manifest in various ways in dogs, including aggression, excessive barking, shaking, and compulsive licking to name a few. All of these reactions can make giving your pup a bath even more stressful for them and you!

Two of the best ways to get rid of your dog’s nervous energy is to take them for a walk or play with them before their bath. As well as giving them a dose of our tinctures. The natural calming properties in our tinctures can help to relax them. If you already give your pet our tinctures, you can align their bath time with dose time or give them an extra 0.25ml 20 minutes before bathing them.

Our tinctures are non-toxic and have no harmful side effects so you don’t need to worry about giving them an extra dose before bathtime!
