All pets have an endocannabinoid system which is responsible for regulating homeostasis throughout their body. It interacts with their nervous, immune, and other systems in their body to help them feel their best. The active ingredient in our tinctures can help to increase the effectiveness of their endocannabinoid system, which in turn can help relieve their pain, anxiety, inflammation, and more.
Just like their personalities, all pets endocannabinoid systems are different, so finding the right dose for your pet can take some trial and error. To make it easier, we have created specific strengths based on your pet’s body weight to help you find the right dose for them. However, sometimes dogs will need more than what we recommend. If your pet is dealing with a chronic or severe condition, they will more than likely need the next size up to start.

How to know how much your pet will need
Finding the correct dose for you pet doesn’t need to be confusing. There are two main factors to consider when finding the correct dose for your furry best friend. One is your pet’s weight, and the other is the severity of their ailment. For most ailments you will be able to dose your pet based off of our weight-based formulas, but if your pet is dealing with a severe ailment (chronic pain, inflammation, debilitating disease, etc.) you will want to consider giving them a higher strength formula than their weight class.
All of our products are non-psychoactive and will cause no harm to your pet even if you need to give them more than our recommended dosage.
Formulas based on your pet’s weight
We have four different weight-based strengths: Small Breed (25lbs or less), Medium Breed (25-60lbs), Large Breed (60-100lbs), and Extra Large Breed (100lbs & up). With all of our formulas, we recommend starting with 0.5ml twice a day and then adjusting the dosage if desired results are not achieved within a week. To increase your pet’s dosage we recommend increasing by 0.25ml (per dose) every 3 days until desired results are achieved.
Cat Formula
We now offer a tincture specially formulated for cats! Our Cat Formula can help relieve your cat’s anxiety, pain, inflammation, and more. Our Cat Formula is mixed with Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil and Organic MCT Oil make it more appetizing for cats. Depending on the weight of your cat and the severity of the ailment you are trying to treat, we recommend starting with 0.25ml – 0.5ml twice a day and adjusting dosage by 0.25ml a day after 4-7 days if needed.
Horse Formula
We also have a formula specially made for horses! Our Horse Formula can help relieve anxiety, arthritis, laminitis, digestive issues, and more. With our Horse Formula we recommend starting with 2ml-4ml twice a day depending on the kind of horse you are dealing with.
To give to your horse you can either pump the dosage directly into their mouth or add it to their meal.
When to buy outside of our recommended weight range
If your pet is bordering on the high end of our weight range, we recommend going up to the next size but starting your pet on a half dose of 0.25ml twice a day. That way, if they happen to need the strength of the next breed size up you’re not having to increase their dosage to match the strength of the next breed size.
We also recommend going up a breed size if you’re giving your pet more than 2ml a day of their current breed size formula.
